ITL’s 2025 Impact Report shares where we are making real progress in sustainable manufacturing across 21 global facilities and where we still have work to do. As a 36-year-old label and packaging solutions company, we are focused on turning commitments into measurable environmental and social action, while being transparent about the gaps that remain.
In a year when ESG has faced increased scrutiny and scepticism, this report focuses on what we can evidence, the challenges we’re still grappling with, and the steps we’re taking next.
Key Progress include:
- 31% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 emissions since 2019, with science-aligned targets validated through MCAP and a clear recognition that we must keep accelerating to stay aligned with climate science.
- ITL facilities performed above industry benchmarks in both Higg FEM and Higg FSLM, strengthening worker protections and environmental impact management; and improving visibility of where we still need to raise the bar.
- Strengthened our product and impact data systems by expanding traceability, product and packaging data, and more granular tracking of energy, water, and waste; an important step toward credible product-level impact reporting.
Innovation Highlights:
- intelligen™ award-winning label engineering that reduces material use without compromising quality or performance.
- PET-free RFID solutions that help cut plastics in supply chains while maintaining functionality.
- Alternative materials collection including recycled, bio-based, and agricultural-residue options, tested for real-world manufacturability.
- Xplore digital passport platform enabling end-to-end supply chain traceability and readiness for upcoming regulatory requirements.
Global Impact, Real Constraints:
From solar panel donations to schools in Bangalore to community clean-ups in Vizag, ITL’s impact work extends beyond factory walls. The report covers our progress on environmental stewardship, circularity, and community well-being, as well as how we are preparing for evolving regulations like CSRD, ESPR, and EPR.
We are proud of the progress in these pages, but we are not calling it “success.” Our systems are still evolving and we know that meeting climate and social goals will require harder decisions, deeper collaboration with customers and suppliers, and continued investment.
This report offers brands, investors, and stakeholders a transparent view of ITL’s journey, not a finished story, showing how environmental progress and business growth can move forward together, and where we still need to do better.
